Here’s something you absolutely were not expecting: Village Bar & Grill.
Opened in 2016, Village is a funky, bustling, New York/London style bar and grill right next to one of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland.
Picture this: You’re sipping a beautifully-mixed margarita from a salt encrusted glass on a huge, warm outdoor dining deck with five of your closest and your surf ’n’ turf arrives. It’s casually chic and elegant.
Or this: You’re really enjoying one of the best homemade pizzas you’ve ever had, helped by an ice cold longneck beer, grounded by the kids, half-listening to the big match on the giant drop-down screen, it’s busy, noisy, fun.
You could be in a big city anywhere in the world except that there, out the window, beyond the deck, the view is of green parkland as far as you can see.
Weird, right?
Yes but it works. This has all the makings of one of the best days ever, and the great thing is you weren’t even expecting it.
