Seafield Golf & Country Club the newest addition to the long list of spectacular Irish golf courses marked the opening of their stunning new clubhouse in suitable style. For the second year running Seafield Golf Club played host to the Canon Pro Golf Series featuring some of the biggest names in the game.
Last year Goosen, Padraig Harrington and Barry Lane graced the courses opening, this year it was the turn of Open champion Paul Lawrie, English Star Justin Rose and South African Trevor Immelman to mark the historic opening of the courses stunning new clubhouse.
Situated in the heart of the golf course the glass and granite structure features spectacular panoramic views of the Irish Sea and the back nine of the McEvoy designed course. An exterior deck surrounds three sides of the clubhouse offering a fantastic viewing place for golfers to unwind and take in the relaxed atmosphere. The clubhouse alone is worth a visit and is open to the public for dining. Applications are currently being accepted for preferential share membership, currently valued at €25,000 but on the verge of increasing in the very near future.
