Aaron and myself want to say a massive thanks to you and all the staff at the hotel for doing a really fantastic job on our wedding day.
You are so accommodating and have everything accounted for which really eased our minds & made the day go so smoothly. Everything was just perfect, we couldn't have wished for better.
What really raises the bar of the hotel are the staff that are in it and we really thank you for making our day so special (and so much fun!)
When my feet get back down to earth, I plan to write something similar on the online forums as I would highly recommend Seafield to any future Bride & Groom.
We look forward to getting back down for a weekend in the upcoming months.

All our guests have been singing the praises of the hotel and so many of them have said how they will be returning at a later date and thought the place was just fantastic.

We had the best day ever at one of the best Hotels in Ireland!!! When we chose Seafield as our venue, we were expecting it to be something special, but even we could not have imagined just how special you would make it. Every single guest raved about the venue, the food and the overall set up. Can't recommend it enough. Superb!

Morning Micheal,
I just wanted to send you an email to thank you deeply for all of your help coming up to and on the day of our amazing wedding! we had a wonderful, magical day. Seafield means so much to Sebastien and I which is why we chose it as our wedding venue, we have no regrets looking back and since the wedding lots of our friends and family have commented on how wonderful the hotel & staff were! We will be down to again over the summer, i think it will be a regular getaway spot for me and the hubby!

We would like to thank all the staff at Sea field hotel for doing everything they could for us in the lead up to our wedding and in particular over the course of our wedding weekend.
Barry and Adeline in the events team were fantastic and made sure that everything we wanted for the day was organized with ease.
What we were really impressed with was the friendliness of all the staff and the lovely realaxed atmosphere that you can sense throughout the hotel.

I loved our Venue, The Seafield Hotel in Gorey. The hotel is contemporary & Stylish with beautiful golf course & sea views.
The Staff are extremely professional & accommodating and really made us feel special on our Wedding day and on our previous visits when making our arrangements.
The Wedding reception room itself is beautiful; we had it decorated in black & white with a splash of pink on our day. The room is self-contained with its own bar and lavatory,which helped keep the large group together.
The food was delicious and all of our guests commented on this & it was served piping hot. They have a great lighting system in the room which really adds atmosphere. The Honeymoon Suite was top class with a huge Jacuzzi & balcony with stunning views.
Anybody who has stayed in the Seafield will tell you they have the most comfortable beds ever. For larger groups of guests or families the hotel also has apartments or Executive houses to stay in with all guests having access to the Oceo spa.
About an hour before the ceremony the hotel sent up tea & hot homemade chocolate chip cookies, just another really nice touch.

Having our wedding reception in Seafield Hotel was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made and we couldn’t have wished for a better day, night or weekend for that matter. From start to finish the Seafield team could not have done anymore to accommodate us and our guests. Everything went to plan from start to finish but I have to compliment the professionalism of your team throughout our stay.
We genuinely look forward with excitement to returning again very soon to Seafield to take advantage once more of the stunning Spa, delicious dining and great location. This time I plan to get in a round of golf too.

We are just back from an amazing honeymoon and wanted to drop you a note to thank you and all at Seafield for a truly wonderful day on the 5th of May.
Everything was perfect and we felt in such safe hands from the moment we booked right through until we left on the 7th of May. We couldnt have picked a better hotel!
We, and all our guests, felt so looked after and everyone is still raving about the hotel and all the employees. Mum and Dad have already booked to go down for the night on the 1st June - I think you are going to see a lot of them as they absolutely love Seafiled. We cant wait to come back ourselves!

Hi Barry/Adeline,
On behalf of myself and Gary I just wanted to say the biggest thank you for all your help and support over the last few months, we will honestly be forever in your debt. The wedding itself was the biggest success ever and we were so happy with absolutely everything. I honestly was left speechless after the whole event and to be honest so were all our guests, who have said that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to, this I’m afraid I cannot take all the credit for. You both are a credit to the hotel.
Our guests have been ranting and raving about the hotel itself that it is so beautifully located, that the décor was amazing, that the spa blew them away. This was what drew us to the hotel but this was only the beginning ever single member of the staff during the wedding were unbelievable, so polite, so helpful I’ve never seen this in any hotel before (well except on my previous stay in Seafield). Then the food during the wedding……what can I say except WOW, I know that we had to come down and do the food tasting again but the food was exceptional, every single guest was amazed.
I know how hard these events are to organise and I fully realise how hard you all worked in bringing it together in such a perfect way, and myself and Gary will never fully be able to express our gratitude, everything amazed us from the flower arrangements on the tables to the canapés on arrival, to the whole ambiance of the place.
We would also like to thank you for upgrading us to the honeymoon suite for the weekend, this was absolutely amazing and we felt really special for the whole weekend, our only problem was dragging ourselves out and facing reality again. Also we received Gary’s phone charger in the post which we would also like to thank you for, this just goes to show that you guys go above and beyond we didn’t even have to call you guys about this charger….I have stayed in other hotels where is they are to post something to you they will charge you for postage.
Since leaving the hotel myself and Gary have visited a few top of the range hotels on a small mini honeymoon and we were so upset by the fact that none of these hotels had a patch on Seafield, and we have now realised that it is truly the only hotel for us.

Hi Micheal ,
Hope you are well and you enjoyed your holiday... have been meaning to send you this mail for the last few weeks but being a newlywed is hectic!! We wanted to pass on our huge thanks to yourself and the whole team at Seafield for making the run up to and our wedding day such a stress free and happy time we couldn't fault a single thing , from the food to the service to the surroundings everything was beautiful , we got more compliments on the venue and staff then anything else! Many of our guests have re-booked for the coming months they were so impressed , my aunt will be staying this weekend to celebrate her wedding anniversary(Margaret Sharkey) and my mum and her sisters have booked a house for September for mum's 60th , so I think that's the best feedback anyone could want. We hope to see you all in the near future ourselves...even if it is just for lunch! Please pass on our compliments and thanks to all staff especially the blonde manager who looked after us on the Sunday at the BBQ she was excellent . (sorry I don't know her name but nothing was a problem and she made sure everything ran smoothly and the BBQ was a huge success).

They were exceptional, professional, and friendly and extremely focused on providing a memorable & stress free occasion for us, aswell as our 290 guests.
It was great to hear such positive comments from our guests about the quality of the food, the friendly relaxed atmosphere and the quality of service and Accommodation, as well as their comments on impressive chic design of the hotel.
We knew, during preparations, that we had made the right choice for us, and

all of your help with our Wedding. The Day itself went perfect and I have to say we could not fault Seafield and I found Seafield to be everything i ever dreamed of. It was like a fairytale wedding. The room was gorgeous, the food was liked by all and in general the staff were very helpful and efficient. I would highly recommend Seafield as a wedding venue if you are looking for a stylish location. Everything went so smooth and if i hear once more "best wedding i was ever at"......

We celebrated our wedding day in March 2009, and thanks to every staff member in Seafield Hotel, our special day far exceeded any of our expectations! From the moment we entered the stylish hotel to enquire about our wedding, we knew Seafield Hotel was the place we dreamt of, and did not hesitate in ensuring our wedding date was free and booked the hotel straight away. Our 18 months of preparation were completely stress free thanks to Kelly and Barry in Seafield Hotel. From our first meeting, they were most professional and very friendly - they made us feel that our wedding was just as important to them as it was to us. We built up a lovely friendship whilst planning our wedding, which really added to our excitement. As our day approached, we knew that everything would run to perfection and that we would not have to worry about a thing - and true enough on our day, we did not have to think of a single thing, other than enjoying ourselves and celebrating with our friends and family. The team in Seafield made everything on our day happen seamlessly. We could not have asked for anything better on our day - the staff made us feel so welcome and made sure we did not want for anything, the atmosphere in the hotel was happy and relaxed; the food was absolutely delicious - we had our prefect day! What made it even better, was that we received so many compliments from our guests about our day in Seafield Hotel (particularly the very comfortable beds!). Every single guest was made feel as special as the Bride & Groom, which for us was pure perfection. We also had a small gathering of family and friends pre arranged for the evening after our wedding. We were astounded, and genuinely touched by the effort Barry put into making sure the evening went well; again, the attention to detail was beyond what we ever expected.
We are so delighted that we had our wedding in Seafield hotel, and could not recommend the beautiful hotel, the professional team and their attention to every second of your day highly enough. We still love re-visiting the hotel as it holds some very special memories for us. Thank you for all that you have done for us.

We looked at lots of potential venues for our wedding, in both Ireland and the UK, but when we came to visit Seafield in advance of its official opening, we knew that this was the place for us and we are very proud to have been one of the first couples to have had their wedding reception at the hotel. The beautiful interior and fabulous location were just perfect for our requirements. Once we had met with the wedding coordinators, we were confident that everything that we were hoping for on our wedding day would be taken care of. And thanks to the efficient and very friendly staff at Seafield, our hopes became a reality. Everything went like clockwork; a round of golf was enjoyed by the groom on the morning of the big day, while the bride-to-be was pampered. The champagne reception, in the elegant hotel lobby area and the following dinner were fantastic. And by the way, the bridal suite is simply amazing! We continue to stay at Seafield as often as we are able - it will always be a special place for us, full of happy memories...

On the biggest day of your lives you need everything to go to plan. In this regard I can honestly say that as far as the hotel was concerned we could have no complaints. From the minute we arrived on the day there was a sense of calm and relaxation that was personified by the staff and by the manager Michael.
The lead up to the wedding can be stressful but the Kelly and Barry were on hand to offer advice, suggestions and assist in our many questions.
Everyone raved about the food... And it was very definitely compliments to the chef!!
All in all a fabulous day was had by all.... And they even arranged for the sun to come out!!

I have to thank Micheal, Barry and Kelly for all their help to make our day so special and for ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Our guests continue to comment on the delicious food (we had fillet of beef) to the great service and the wonderful surroundings of the hotel. My sister (bridesmaid) and I used the spa a few days before the wedding and it was pure bliss and very relaxing – I would highly recommend this to anyone even for a day trip to Seafield!

I wanted to send you a note to let you know that we had a great day and were delighted with our choice of venue for the wedding.
Firstly I wanted to say a big “thank you” to Barry, Michéal and Kelly for making the day such a success. All three of you were a great help to me and Mark both in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself so I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated that. In addition to you guys I do also want to point out that there was a lady serving us on the day, her name was Patricia, she may have been the head waitress (if not she should be!), I will never forget her either, she was excellent and really stood out from the rest not only to me but numerous members of my family and other guests. I would appreciate it if you could let her know how grateful we were for looking after us all so well, she really went above and beyond. Anyway to sum up and end on a positive note though we were extremely happy with the hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.

The service at the meal was fabulous excellently organised and the picture of perfection.
All hotel staff treated us and our guests so well.
The hotel is a beautiful venue and the perfect setting for a dream wedding.
The wedding co-ordinator Kelly, general manager Michéal and the rest of the hotel staff were there to help with everything no matter how big or small.
We had the best day of our life and Seafield made it!!!

From the moment myself and Eoin arrived in the hotel everything was perfect. The piano was lovely in the reception and all my guests loved the décor and atmosphere upon arrival. The function room looked fantastic and I was delighted with how well everything came together. The views from the Aine Suite were so scenic due to the lovely colours of the plants, flowers and golf course which are well maintained throughout the grounds.
My guests all really enjoyed the food and wine and told me it was the best food they have had at a wedding- outstanding. The attention to detail was fantastic and extremely professional. From the excellent service when serving the food to how immaculate the staff looked.
Some of my guests have travelled to some top hotels worldwide and they told me everything about the food, service, décor and hotel in general would put this hotel up against some of the best hotels in the world. Small things like the staff leaving the room at the time of the speeches was very respectful and we appreciated this. The service at the bar all night was also very good I was told and there were no problems with waiting for long periods.
From the meal to the reception up until the end went excellent we could not fault one thing on the day it was amazing and we are so very happy with our decision to have our big day at this amazing hotel. The hotel has made my wedding so special and we will remember this day as a result with extremely fond memories for the rest of our lives.
